How to get to Eyeries

Eyeries is situated on the Beara Peninsula 8.5km north of Castletownbere and 41.6km south of Kenmare

By car - Eyeries is just off the R571 between Castletownbere and Kenmare.

It is 10 minutes from Castletownbere, 45 minutes from Kenmare, 2 hours from Cork and 5 hours from Dublin.


By public transport 


Train - www.irishrail.ie to Cork or Killarney then by car or bus.


Bus - www.buseireann.ie 

There are two buses that directly serve the local area:

Bus 282 will bring you direct to Eyeries from Castletownbere and Kenmare in summer months only (26th June - 27th August).

Bus 236 will bring you from Cork to Castletownbere and Glengarriff only. From here you can use a local private bus and taxi service.
