The second Aoife Murphy Memorial Walk supporting Brain Tumour Ireland took place over the Eyeries Festival weekend. Many walkers took part and raised the amazing sum of €2791 !
Aoife, whose mother Frances lives in Eyeries, sadly passed away suddenly in August 2022 from a previously undiagnosed brain tumour.
The money raised in Aoife's memory will help Brain Tumour Ireland undertake research into the development and treatment of brain tumours and to support patients and their families. They also set out to raise public awareness about brain tumours.
